A drive in Tokyo is never like any place else. It is busy and beautiful and full of life. Continuing on from the amazing Tatsumi, Daikoku Parking Area is also a motorway rest area that just happens to be a place for car worshippers like me. Whereas Tatsumi is more popular with the Tokyo locals, attracting the more exotic stuff, Daikoku on any given night is even more of your Tokyo Drift fantasies come to life. A winding road somewhere in the north of Tokyo will make you reevaluate the other roads you’ve taken before.
Automobile enthusiasts and well-practiced amateurs poke and pry beneath the hood. Unscheduled natural intermission to take a photo of breathtaking views aside, I’m grateful for the break, a chance to stretch legs and catch up.
